Tango

The last few days have been really hectic so I haven't had much to post about. Thats actually a sign that things are going pretty well though. We get up early and test until darkish and then eat, back up data, crash, and go again. If we weren't working with chimps it would be draining but its tons of fun to interact with them all day.

Not too many escapes lately either although umine did get out and pay us a visit at our house. Here she is coming at the house with a broom and then hanging off our window, poised to break in. ...little scary, i'm not going to lie.



This is Tango. his is the sanctuary dog. He is probably the most screwed up dog ever but he is a sweetheart. He walks in the strangest way so i'm sure something is wrong with his legs and he is constantly covered in the nastiest things you could find around a chimp sanctuary. he also has a haircut that would do well in the antarctic so i've got a feeling he's not well adapted for congo.


this is not an unusual picture. his ears are always crossed like this...i have no idea why.
