Even though its just across the river, the scenery at tchimpounga is totally different than 阿萨萨阿地掏个骨达克阿勒 ..er...excuse that. hippos Chinese application took over for a minute somehow...weird.... ok, i'm back (thanks hippo).
Anyways, Lola is totally covered in forest and at tchimpounga you can see forever. There are little eucalyptus patches (sadly..due to logging) and some denser stuff...but there are also just vast expanses of open field. so there is always this incredible sense of depth as you look out. i wish this picture could do it justice.

The susets are always orangeish-pink and they look like they're burning a hole in the sky even though its actually pretty cool at this time of year.

Awhile ago we went into a village for an evening soccer game, but unfortunately things didn't get started until after darkish. So...that and the lack of uniforms made things a little confusing. But I took these overexposed pictures anyway just to capture the feel of the area. yeah, we played against 8 year olds...not gonna lie.

Here was our team....i think. maybe not...but these kids were there, i know that much. i've got their picture to prove it.

Oh, and this thing charged me on a narrow little path the other day which was kind of scary. I jumped off the path and into the brush as the cow hand came running up from behind laughing as he grabbed at the bull's rope. I've been surreptitiously feeding the old boy bananas ever since (yeah weird isn't it? he likes them) in case we happen to meet privately again.
