Hey friends,
I am safe in congo but haven't made a single post because the internet has been so slow. I have taken plenty of pictures etc so will post events from the last week or so once i have a decent connection again. For now things are good. My second bag showed up today, beat to hell, but with all its contents.
I'm also healthy again after fighting off a pretty nasty fever that took me to kinshasa to see an expat doctor. Everyone in congo was sure I had the swine flu :) maybe i did, there is no test for it here...but i feel great again and will start testing again soon (we're giving it a grace period to be sure not to infect bonobos)
